Article XV - Member Involvement - Section 1

Section 1. INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITY STRUCTURE
The Chairman of the Board may appoint Standing Committees, Special Committees, Advisory Groups, Task Forces, Divisions and Sections deemed necessary for the conduct of business and to further the purposes of the Association. They shall be of such size and shall have such duties, functions, quorum requirements and authority as may be assigned to them by the Chairman. Appointments shall be for a term of one (1) year or as assigned by the Chairman. The Chairman and the President or delegated staff members shall be ex-officio members and shall be notified of all meetings. All actions of these subordinate groups shall be subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

Section 2. REPRESENTATIONS OF THE ASSOCIATION. No individual, committee, advisory group, task force, or member thereof shall assume to speak for or represent the Association before the membership, any legislative, administrative, judicial or public body, or otherwise, unless authorized to do so by the Board of Directors. No report, recommendation or other action of any subordinate body of the Association shall be considered as the action of the Association unless and until it shall have been approved or authorized by the Board of Directors.
